Vidya Balan starrer ‘Shakuntala Devi’ teaser

After treating fans with the first look of her upcoming film, ‘Shakuntala Devi’, actress Vidya Balan^[1] has now shared the much awaited teaser^[2] of the movie and it is sure to leave you intrigued and excited. Giving all her fans a glimpse into the extraordinary life of the mathematical genius Shakuntala Devi, Vidya took to her Twitter handle to share the teaser of the film. In the teaser, Vidya shows us how we all as child start our mathematical journey from basic tables and how Shakuntala Devi^[3] started off with complex mathematical problems.

According to reports, the film's shoot finally starts in London today. It is also reported that Vidya waited for four months after signing the film to actually get into the skin of the character and familiarise Devi and her craft. Moreover, as Shakuntala Devi was a mathematician master, Balan also learnt about her skills that earned her the title of Human Computer'. Her wicked sense of humour made her popular and loved among her peers.
The film is directed by Anu Menon, who has also co-written the screenplay.
