Trump, Ukraine president meet amid furore

US President Trump says he placed "no pressure" on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Democratic rival Joe Biden. Trump commented on Wednesday during a meeting with Zelensky on the sidelines of the UNGA meeting in New York.
Trump said Zelensky was "more famous" than he and praised him for "very strongly looking into all sorts of corruption".
Asked about their July phone call, Zelensky said it was a "good phone call" and "normal" and that he and Trump discussed "many things". Zelensky added: "Nobody pushed me".
The Ukrainian president also joked that it's better to meet in person in front of TV cameras than talk on the phone. Earlier in the day, when asked whether Trump had put improper pressure on him, Zelensky said, "The only one person who can put pressure on me ... is my son, who is six years old."
