Salman & director Kabir Khan bury the hatchet

Salman Khan^[1] and Kabir Khan^[2]'s third film together 'Tubelight'^[3] failed to pull the audience to the theatres. Reportedly, Salman even paid the dues of the exhibitors and distributors of the film from his own pocket.
Soon after that, rumours of Salman and Kabir's tiff started doing rounds the internet. Absence of Kabir who was once a friend of Salman's family, at superstars various celebrations added fuel to the fire of rumours.
However, according to the latest reports, both the director and the actor are friends again. Reportedly, Kabir's wife Mini Mathur^[4] sorted things between them. She had hosted a screening of Salman's 'Loveyatri' which launched his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma.
A report stated that everything is so good between that they might even collaborate for a film.
Also, during the red carpet event of Filmfare Awards 2019^[5], when Kabir was asked when he would do a film with Salman, he had said, "As when as a suitable story comes, a story that can excite him and me equally then we will work together. I think that's important for any director. I don't know what next story I am not sure what I am working on, but if excites Salman, great otherwise I will work with somebody else who gets excited."
