Salman fan apologises to Sona Mohapatra

Singer Sona Mohapatra had yesterday took to Twitter to reveal that she received a death threat from a fan of Bollywood actor Salman Khan after the singer criticized him for repeatedly taking digs at actress Priyanka Chopra for quitting his upcoming film 'Bharat' at the last minute. The singer who is quite vocal on social media shared screenshots of the death threats that she received from Salman's fan and in an interview revealed how it affects her and her family.
The 'Ambarsariya' singer today in another tweet shared an apology that she received from the same Salman fan who threatened her. Sharing the screenshot of the apology, Sona said, "From ‘Slut I’ll kill you’ to ‘Sona Mam’. A journey of toxic intimidation to ‘being intimidated’ within 24 hours? I’m guessing he figured that #India would find & thrash him soon enough. Dear followers of bhai the bully, please read the writing in the wall. Your time is UP."

The actress earlier revealed that her family was very worried and every day she receives messages from them suggesting her to take police protection. The singer also revealed that it isn't easy for her family members as well.
The singer further said that the troll took fear to apologise after the police came into the picture, not by courage.

The singer also explained why she didn't want to get the police involved in this matter.
