KJo on his upcoming period drama film 'Takht'

Karan Johar^[1] is the man of the hour and his upcoming project 'Takht' has been the talk of the town since he made the announcement. The ace filmmaker took to social media yesterday to squash all reports of 'Takht' is temporarily delayed due to a huge setback his production house faced with the failure of 'Kalank'.
In an interview, Karan, who'll be donning the director's hat after nearly three years opened up about the challenges he is facing in directing the period film. He revealed that whenever he thinks about the extent of the film and the amount of work that'll go into making this project frightens him.
Not only that but he even admitted that he's pretty excited about making the period drama as he has never tried it in the past, therefore, making him nervous about the film.
Not only that but the video shared by KJo on social media yesterday also grabbed our attention as the release date was written on the poster of the film. Reportedly, the film is set to hit the screens in December 2020!
The film revolves around the Mughal era and features Ranveer Singh^[2], Alia Bhatt^[3], Kareena Kapoor^[4] Khan, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal^[5], Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor in pivotal roles.
