Lawyer approaches Supreme Court seeking probe against Bhushan, Jaising in CJI case

A lawyer approached the Supreme Court seeking CBI[1] probe against advocates Shanti Bhushan[2], Prashant Bhushan[3], Indira Jiasing and others for allegedly playing “a vital role to attack the CJI via false and concocted allegation of sexual harassment” by assisting a former employee in filing “false” complaint against the CJI.
Advocate M L Sharma, who keeps filing PIL in all controversial cases, mentioned his petition before a bench of the CJI for urgent hearing but Justice Ranjan Gogoi[4] asked him to approach another bench. Sharma, thereafter, rushed to a bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra but he too refused to hear and asked him to approach another bench. A bench headed by Justice Mishra had earlier ordered setting up of a committee, headed by a former SC judge, to hold inquiry into the larger conspiracy allegedly hatched to frame the CJI in a frivolous case.
