Saaho BO collection Day 5: Film sees a drop

Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ' Saaho' has been the talk of the town since the announcement. The trailer and the songs of the film have received a lot of love from all the quarters. The much-anticipated film has hit the theatres on August 30th. The multilingual action flick is one most expensive films in the history of Indian cinema with a reported budget of Rs 350 crore.
'Saaho' (Hindi) raked in Rs 24 crore on its opening day at the box office. And according to BoxOfficeIndia.com's report, the film has collected in the range of Rs 7-8 crore nett on Tuesday. With this, the film will enter the 100 crore club. The collections have dropped around 40-50% from Monday. The Ganesh Chaturthi holiday had kept the collections up for the film.
Though the box office numbers have dropped over, places like Gujarat, Odisha and Bihar are still scoring good.
'Saaho' released in four languages, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam across 8,500 plus screens in the country. However, the report stated that the South versions of the film are finding it difficult to pull the audience to the theatres.
Helmed by Sujeeth, the film also stars Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma and more.
