Rishi-Neetu spotted heading home from NYC

Look who was spotted at the New York City airport, all ready to head home to Mumbai. Actor Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor were clicked with a fan enroute to Mumbai after almost a year long stay in the US.
The veteran actor, who had announced that he would be stationed abroad for a while due to a then undisclosed illness seemed fit and fine as he awaited his flight home. It was only a few months back that the star revealed that he was battling cancer and sought treatment in NYC.
In a recent interview, Rishi expressed his desire to be back home with his family and revel in the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi and eat modhaks. Looks like the star, who turned a year older on Wednesday, had his wish fulfilled as he got ready to catch his homebound flight on his birthday.

It goes without saying that he will surely have a very warm welcome when he touches down in the city.

Meanwhile, fans and friends flooded social networking sites to wish him good health and happiness. Acknowledging the warm greetings and messages of love, the actor took to his Twitter handle to say, "Thank you ever so much. Of course, my time is nine and a half hours behind India, I accept your greetings with all my love and humility."
Neetu also shared a note of thanks to all of Rishi’s well-wishers in an Instagram post that read, “On his birthday I thank everyone. Family Friends Well wishes for all the love and prayers. can’t believe it’s almost a year and we will soon be heading HOME.”
