'Dream Girl' box office collection Day 3

Continuing his dream run at the box office, Ayushmann Khurrana's latest offering 'Dream Girl' has seen an exceptional first-weekend collection at the box office. The Raaj Shandilya directorial has registered strong numbers across many circuits and has appealed to the masses. The film stars Nushrat Bharucha as the female lead.
As per the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com, on Sunday, the film managed to rake in Rs 18 crore on its third day at the box office. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 43.50 crore on its first weekend at the box office.
The film is also by far the best start ever for an Ayushmann Khurana starrer. 'Dream Girl' is expected to remain strong in the long run the same as last week's 'Chhichhore'. Both the audience and the critics have given a thumbs up to the film.
The plot of the film revolves around the character Karamvir (Ayushmann Khurrana) who works at a friendship call center under the name Pooja and can speak in a melodious female voice. The situation turns topsy-turvy for him when his clients fall in love with Pooja.
The film also stars Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Bannerjee, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Raj Bhansali among others.
Written and helmed by Raaj Shandilya who will be making his directorial debut, 'Dream Girl' is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Aashish Singh. The film hit the screens on September 13.
