Aditya Pancholi gets relief in rape case

Looks like Aditya Pancholi^[1] can heave a sigh a relief as gets an interim relief I the rape^[2] case filed against him. The Dindoshi sessions court on Tuesday granted the actor relief till July 19. According to ANI, "Actor Aditya Pancholi has been granted interim relief till 19th of July by Dindoshi Sessions court in a rape case filed against him."
Reportedly, the Versova police had registered a case against the actor after he was accused of rape and assault. If reports in Mid Day is anything to go by, DCP Paramjit Singh Dahiya had said that a FIR^[3] has been filed under section 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison, etc with intent to commit an offence) 384 (punishment for extortion), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
The senior actor, who had reportedly filed for an anticipatory bail on Monday, had said that he has been falsely implicated in the case, however, he will co-operate with the Mumbai police.
