Veeru arrived with fighters to save Ajay

The B-town recently mourned the death of the popular action director and Ajay Devgn's father Veeru Devgan. Veeru Devgan breathed his last on May 27. Amitabh Bachchan also had observed a one-minute silence on the sets of his film Chehre. While writing on his blog he mentioned,"Veeru Devgan .. action director and coordinator extraordinaire .. who from those humble beginnings as a stand-in stuntman, went on to become one of the most prominent Action Directors of the film industry .. who brought in innovative action sequences and executed them to perfection .. who created job opportunities for innumerable stuntmen..”
Remembering the action director, a Twitter user shared a throwback video of a chat show wherein Ajay was seen talking about how he saved him from a crowd of 20-25 people who had come to beat him. The host of the show Sajid Khan said that once while Ajay was driving his white jeep, he entered a narrow lane and a kid who was chasing a kite suddenly came in front of his jeep and Ajay immediately pulled the breaks. The kid started got scared and started crying and then the public around mobbed him. When Ajay's dad got to know about this he came along with 200 fighters at the spot. It looked just like a Hindi movie action scene.
The veteran stunt coordinator had worked in over 80 films in his life and collaborated with actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Sushmita Sen, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and many more.
