The Centre has contested the claims of
IAS officer-turned-J&K politician
Shah Faesal that he was stopped at the Delhi airport from going abroad for his studies. In a reply filed in the Delhi HC on Saturday, the government said Faesal never intended to go for any academic course as he was going to the US on a tourist visa. It also blamed him for “instigating persons against the sovereignty and integrity of India” as soon as he landed back at the Srinagar airport.
