The video was possibly first posted on TikTok before it went viral on the micro-blogging site. The video shows a girl and a boy, both pre-teens and dressed in school uniforms, perform the moves with ease.

The search for the two kids had begun on August 26 after Union minister Kiren Rijiju. retweeted the video posted by one MV Rao. "What a pretty picture! Future Gymnasts in making," Rao wrote on August 25. His tweet was shared by Rijiju, who asked for help in identifying the kids. "These kids are raw talents. Will get them connected to a gymnastic academy if someone brings them to me," he wrote. The video gained further traction after it was posted with the hashtag, National Sports Day, on Thursday.
After Comaneci posted the video, Rijiju acknowledged it in another tweet, writing, "I'm happy that @nadiacomaneci10 tweeted it! As first gymnast who scored perfect 10.0 at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, and then, received six more perfect 10s to win three gold medals, it becomes very special. I've urged to introduce these kids to me. "

Other Twitter users, too, replied on Comaneci's tweets. "Wow... Compliments from the Queen of gymnastics, former Olympian from Romania...Coming from you, these words will definitely inspire school going kids to take up such sports at an early stage," wrote Jignesh Purohit.
"OMG...Did this just happen? This is why despite all my cribbing I love Twitter. Hope Minister @KirenRijiju has taken notice of this brilliant talent. Now they have been certified by THE Nadia Comaneci," wrote political commentator Sunanda Vashisht.
