Rangoli takes a dig at PC's #howdareyou tweet
Several B-town celebs are lending their support to 16-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg. Amongst them was our 'Desi Girl' Priyanka Chopra[1] who has backed several philanthropic causes over the years. She shared the video of Swedish Nobel Prize nominee’s powerful speech which is buzzing around the Internet.
In the video, spoke about how she and her generation have been robbed of a childhood. PeeCee captioned the video “Thank you @gretathunberg for giving us the much-needed punch in the face, for bringing your generation together and showing us that we need to know better, do more to save what is most critical. At the end of the day, we only have this one planet. #HowDareYou”.
But this has not gone well with 'Manikarnika' actress Kangana Ranaut[2]'s sister Rangoli Chandel[3]. She took a dig at the actress and urged her to support Indians who are working hard towards environment conservation. She wrote, ''Dear PC nice to have u back, Yes this young woman is doing great work, magar hamare desh mein bhi bahut log tan man dhan se environment keliye kaam kar rahe hain, sirf lecture nahin de rahe results laa rahe hain... unkeliye bhi kabhi kuch payaar ke shabd bol dijiye...acha lagega''.
Apart from Priyanka, stars like Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan[5], Dia Mirza[6] and several others support the movement against climate inaction.
