Details: Ranveer to do a cameo in SLB's film?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film featuring Alia Bhatt has been the talk of the town. After Salman Khan opted out from the project, the filmmaker let in another one for the lead role.
It was being reported that SLB recently approached Ranveer Singh for a cameo in the film, however, Singh turned down the offer. Due to which Alia got miffed with her 'Gully Boy' co-star.
Now, according to a source close to the development, Ranveer was never part of the project. The source was quoted saying, "Alia’s film with SLB has never had Ranveer in the mix. So, there is no question of him doing a cameo in this project. SLB and Ranveer are the most loved, most successful and most acclaimed director-actor combinations of this era - the trade and audience are waiting in anticipation to know when they will join forces again."
Meanwhile, Alia will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' with Ranbir Kapoor. On the other hand, Ranveer will star in Kabir Khan's sports drama '83' which also features his wifey Deepika Padukone in pivotal role.
