President speech 'hollow, uninspiring': Congress

Congress termed President Ram Nath Kovind's address to the joint sitting of Parliament as "hollow and uninspiring". Congress leaders Anand Sharma and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, "The President's address was just a repetition of PM Narendra Modi's speech. He has missed major points like unemployment and fall in GDP."
They also took a dig at Kovind for supporting "one nation, one election", arguing that simultaneous elections were not feasible owing to the country's diversity.
