‘Broadcast 550th anniversary live from Nankana Sahib’

AMRITSAR: Indian World Forum (IWF) has asked the Union government to broadcast functions of the 550th birth anniversary of Sikh religion's first master, Guru Nanak Dev, live from Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan. The celebrations will be held between November 10 and 12.
Talking to TOI on Saturday, secretary general of IWF, Puneet Singh Chandhok, said IWF has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take up the issue with Pakistan government and arrange for the live relay of the festivities on national channel Doordarshan.
