AN-32 crash: Bodies retrieved

GUWAHATI: The bodies and remains of the 13 Indian Air Force personnel on board the AN-32 aircraft that crashed in Arunachal Pradesh on June 3 were brought to their home base at Jorhat Air Force Station on Thursday.
The bodies of six personnel were retrieved on Wednesday and flown by helicopter to Aalo. They were brought to Jorhat on Thursday along with the mortal remains of the seven other personnel retrieved earlier in the day. "The mortal remains will be sent to their home towns. The Indian Air Force stands with the families and next of kin of all the air warriors who lost their lives," a defence spokesperson said.
