'War' box office collection Day 2

As per the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Thursday, the film has raked in a total of Rs 22 crore on its second day at the box office. The drop from the first day is in the range of 55-60% which is a normal drop seen for a mass film after a national holiday. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 74 crore in two days at the box office.
The only precedent for this type of film with a Wednesday holiday release is 'Ek Tha Tiger' in 2012 saw a drop of 55% on its second day but at lower levels from 'War'. Other releases on a national holiday like 'Bharat' and 'Thugs Of Hindostan' still had holidays on the second day.
'War' released across 3800 plus screens in Hindi and was also released in English and Telugu. The film is expected to put up huge numbers on the weekend, though, it could see another minor drop on Friday before the film picks up on Saturday and Sunday. The five day weekend is a huge plus for the film and it is expected to stick on to the box office till Diwali.
Helmed by Siddharth Anand, 'War' also features Vaani Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The plot of the film revolves around agent Khalid (played by Tiger Shroff) who is on a mission to hunt down his mentor Kabir (played by Hrithik Roshan). The film boasts of jaw-dropping action sequences choreographed by international stunt directors Paul Jennings and Jack Reacher.
