Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar slams Om Prakash Chautala for jibe at him

CHANDIGARH: Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar and former CM and INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala were caught in a war of words on Saturday.
The exchange of barbs started with Chautala, who was recently released on a 14-day furlough, on Friday calling Khattar “nakaara” (a reject) and “nikamma” (useless). At the workers’ meeting in Sirsa, Chautala took a dig at Khattar’s second name. He claimed that when milch cows stopped giving milk, locals called them “khattar”. Khattar on Saturday replied to Chautala on Twitter. He tweeted: “You can stoop down to such level, but my upbringing is not like that. The people of Haryana have taught you the lesson for use of unparliamentary language.”
