Digvijaya Singh launches Twitter attack on RSS-BJP for Karkare comment
"It is clear from the statement of Sangh persons against Hemant Karkare, that for them Bharat is not ' Mata' but Sangh is everything," Digvijaya Singh tweeted on Tuesday morning. Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkare was martyred while fighting terrorists during the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.

Last week, 2008 Malegaon blast accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur accepted BJP membership. She stroke a controversy by her statement that martyred Hemant Karkare died because she had "cursed" him. Pragya Thakur is the BJP candidate from Bhopal and has been pitted against former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh. The senior Congress leader tactfully evaded questions on Pragya Singh Thakur, saffron terror, Malegaon blasts and allied questions so far.
However, on Tuesday morning, he suddenly started an attack on the RSS while mentioning Hemant Karkare in a series of tweets. "Anyone who speaks against the Sangh is a traitor," he tweeted. If India's martyred is not liked Sangh then he is "Shaitaan (Satan)". We have taken oath of the Constitution, not the Sangh. We are Bhakts of Bharat Mata," the tweet said.
In a second tweet, the Congress leader said, "India is a strong nation today for which not Sangh but the Congress made its sacrifices. Mahatma Gandhi, Indira ji, Rajeev ji's sacrifice. Chhattisgarh, Kashmir, Punjab, Assam, Manipur, Tripura….. The country's soil has the blood of the Congress. Sangh does not get the fragrance of this blood."
He then trained his guns on the BJP in his third tweet. Not mentioning PM Narendra Modi, Digvijaya Singh tweeted, "BJP leaders may think that morning is when they wake-up but India's sunrise happened a long time ago."

The Congress leader, in the fourth tweet, honoured Hemant Karkare putting him on the same podium as his party's martyred leaders.
